|Day 1° / Italy – Istanbul
Meeting of your group at the airport and departure with flight to Turkey.Transfer by bus to Istanbul, meet your guide and brief overview of the city. Hotel accommodation, dinner and overnight.
|Day 2° / Istanbul
Breakfast at hotel and departure to visit the city. The Blue Mosque: in front of the Hagia Sophia, the Sultanahmet Imperial, dashing its six minarets of supreme elegance. Built between 1609 and 1616 by the architect Mehmet, is often known as the Blue Mosque for the splendid interior panels in ceramics of Iznik blue and white. Three of the monuments decorating the Hippodrome of Constantinople, still exist today: the Obelisk of Theodosius, the bronze Serpentine Column and the Column of Constantine. The Hagia Sophia is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful monuments of all time, founded by Constantine the Great and reconstructed by Justinian in the sixth century. It must linger to soak up its majestic serenity and to admire the wonderful Byzantine mosaics. Lunch. In the afternoon you visit the Byzantine Cisterns: the cistern of Justinian of the sixth century. A.D. It was the largest cistern of the Roman city. It has 336 columns of 12 orders. The tour ends with a stop at the Grand Bazaar, the largest covered market in the world that reaches 200,000 square meters, with 32 entrances and with a dense network of roads and internal streets. |Day 3° / Istanbul – Ankara
Breakfast at hotel and departure for the cruise on the Bosphorus by boat. Lunch. In the afternoon departure for Ankara, arriving in the evening, hotel accommodation, dinner and overnight.
|Day 4° / Ankara – Cappadocia
Breakfast at hotel and departure to visit the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations, known as the Museum of the Hittites. Departure by bus to Cappadocia and lunch on the way. Stop at the Salt Lake and overview of Cappadocia. Hotel accommodation, dinner and overnight.
|Day 5° / Cappadocia
Breakfast at hotel and departure for the visit of Cappadocia with its distinctive lunar landscape, the cave dwellings and rock churches rich in Byzantine frescoes. Visit the Göreme National Park with its open-air museum, and the underground city of Kaymakli. Stop in the villages of Zelve and Uchisar and Avcilar. Lunch at a restaurant during the visits. Return to hotel, dinner and overnight.
|Day 6° / Cappadocia – Konya – Pamukkale
Breakfast at hotel and departure for Pamukkale via Konya. Stop at the caravanserai of the Sultans, the thirteenth century., One of the most beautiful in Turkey. Arrival in Konya and visit the Mausoleum of Mevlana, founder of the Whirling Dervishes, one of the most important of Islamic mysticism. Continue to Pamukkale, lunchrestaurant on the way. Arrival to Pamukkale in the evening, hotel accommodation, dinner and overnight.
|Day 7° / Pamukkale – Kusadasi
Breakfast and departure to visit the “petrified waterfalls” and the impressive ruins of Hierapolis with the remains of the church that commemorates the martyrdom of St. Philip. Continue to Ephesus: Visit to the monuments of the ancient Roman city where the Christian community St. Paul Indrizzo with bright colors: Library of Celsus, the theater, the Temple of Hadrian. Lunch. In the afternoon climb the hill of the Nightingales, where the sanctuary of the “house of the Madonna”. Stop at the basilica of San Giovanni and continue to Kusadasi. Hotel accommodation, dinner and overnight.
|Day 8° / Izimir – Istanbul – Italy
Breakfast at hotel and transfer by bus to the airport and departure flight back to Italy.
